Lydia Davies is a dedicated Ashtanga yoga practitioner, student and yoga teacher.
She originally discovered yoga in her mid twenties after spending a near decade battling eating disorders and addiction. Within a year she travelled to Rishikesh, India to undertake her first teacher training where she was introduced to - and immediately fell in love with the Ashtanga Yoga Method.
She believes her daily practice has changed her life profoundly, enabling her to maintain her recovery and live life with a sense of freedom she had lost for so long. Her desire is to share this with others in the hope that they may find the powerful self-healing she has experienced herself through yoga.
Since visiting India she spent a month at Miami Life Centre studying with Kino Mcgregor and Tim Feldmann, both authorised to teach directly by the founder of the Ashtanga Yoga Method, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and his grandson R. Sharath Jois.
Her inclusive teaching style which encompasses the traditions and philosophy of the practice, along with focus on alignment and mental wellness offers a path towards healing for anyone who has a desire to feel better and is willing to try.
